This privacy policy explains how Shires Learning and Development uses the personal information we collect about you when you use this website. Our website does not store your personal information except where you voluntarily choose to provide it, for example on an event registration form, in an application form, using one of our services, or when you download a prospectus.

We collect your information when you use or book one of our services. This may include providing personal contact information (such as an email address), so we can deliver the requested service. Whenever you provide such personal information, we will act in accordance with our policies.

HOW WILL WE USE THE INFORMATION ABOUT YOU?

We collect information about you to deliver you a service. If you consent, we can email you about other products/services/events we think may be of interest to you. Medical records may be kept for some of our services; these are stored should you return in the future. We do not share your information for marketing purposes with any other organisations. We only store personal information for a limited time. Should you not return for further services, your records will be safely destroyed in line with our Retention Policy.

The information you provide within an application will/may be passed to the Agency’s Learning Records Service (LRS) to create and maintain a unique learner number (ULN) to obtain/check prior attainment. By submitting an application, you acknowledge you have seen the LRS privacy notice -GOV.UK

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please write to us at the address below. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate or erase data that you no longer wish us to hold.
